What is the Google PageRank?

The Google PageRank is a link analysis algorithm, named after Larry Page and used by the Google Internet search engine. It's one of many factors used by Google to determine which pages appear in search results.

The PageRank consists of a numeric value from 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

Webmasters occasionally refer to PageRank as "PR".
